TASTE of the North Coast will showcase the region’s restaurants and retail food purveyors. It will also feature a separate beer and wine tasting, a culinary students competition, and a silent auction.
“We are really excited to bring the TASTE of the North Coast to Sandusky and we anticipate attracting visitors from as far away as Cleveland, Toledo, and Columbus,” said John Moldovan, president of the Erie County Chamber. “This will be a great way for event attendees to sample the variety and quality of culinary choices that the area eateries, wineries, and breweries have to offer. We are also pleased to have the participation of local student chefs showing off their talents in a competition/demonstration.”
Advanced ticket prices are $20 for admission into the event ($25 at the door), which includes 15 food tasting tickets. For partrons interested in the beer and wine tasting feature, tasting tickets can be purchased at the event. Additional food or wine/beer tasting tickets can be purchased at the event. Food vendors will have culinary selections available for various pricing levels depending on selection and portion sizes offered. Wine and beer sampling prices will also vary depending on the particular selection.
“We currently have many dining establishments represented. Our wine and beer tastings will feature a variety of different wines and beers.
For area businesses and restaurants, a limited number of sponsorship and food vendor opportunities are available. Those interested will want to secure their participation by September 30, 2012 to be included in marketing and promotional materials for the event.
